CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Not all Chattanoogans are in favor of Mayor Tim Kelly's Climate Action Plan.
City leaders voted on the Climate Action Plan in March.

Supporters see it as a community-wide roadmap for a sustainable future.
"This is about saving your freedom, rights, liberties. Your freedom of choice, " said Glenda Pappu, director of Tennessee Neighbors for Liberty.
However, members of NoogaVoices and Tennessee Neighbors for Liberty feel the Climate Action Plan erodes personal freedom.
They plan to meet Thursday night to discuss alternatives to the plan.
"Let's start a petition. Let's get some petitions" Pappu said. "It's not 100 of us, it's not 1,000 of us. 15,000 of us say this is not right. We can do this Chattanooga. We can do this."
The mayor insists the Climate Action Plan is not about money from taxpayers.
"It's not going to require us to ask [for] dollars from rank-and-file Chattanoogans." Mayor Tim Kelly said "It certainly would not imply a tax increase or anything of that nature. The simplest way to understand it, is if you’ve got an old filament light bulb that burns out, you would replace it with an LED light bulb."
Opponents believe it's not too late to change course.
"So, what are you going to do? What action are you going to take? This is the future. Not of just you, and your children, your great grandchildren, the whole nation depends on Chattanooga," Pappu said.
