Officers Arrest BPD Most Wanted Suspect After Traffic Stop in the South End — bpdnews.com

At about 10:04 AM on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, officers assigned to District D-4 Anti-Crime Unit (South End) arrested Tabari Muhammad , 31, of Boston, on outstanding warrants.

Officers were on patrol in the area of 478 Tremont Street when they observed a motor vehicle fail to stop for a red light. Officers activated their emergency lights and sirens to initiate a traffic stop. Officers immediately recognized the passenger to have a warrant for his arrest. Officers asked the suspect to exit the vehicle and he was placed into handcuffs without incident.

At the time of his arrest, the suspect was wanted on outstanding warrants sought out of Boston Municipal Court for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device, and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.

The suspect had been highlighted on a BPD Most Wanted List and is expected to appear in Boston Municipal Court for arraignment.
